Janet wrote her first poem in second grade and has been writing ever since. She is a wife, mother, former teacher, and musician. Janet enjoys traveling, reading, baking goodies, and crocheting. She believes strongly in the importance of close family relationships and strong family values. Patchwork Trail is based on the personal experiences of Janet and her family.
About Illustrator Patricia Arnold
Patricia Arnold is a former Texan who has lived in Federal Way, Washington for over 20 years. She is a professional portrait artist, muralist, book illustrator, art educator, and business woman. In her beautiful illustrations, she used Janet’s parents as models for the grandparents in the story.
